Roles & Responsibilities…

Purpose of the role:  To deliver excellent weekly, sessions with young students aged 8-18 years in your chosen subject, in line with the current UK school curriculum.

Responsibilites

  • Arriving 15 minutes prior to your first session begins to plan tailored lessons for your students, using the packaged StudyRight materials provided as a guideline

  • Delivering engaging and stimulating sessions for young students aged 8-16 in a selected subject area

  • Being flexible with pre-planned content, adapting it to indivdual students’ needs

  • Reporting to parents on their child’s progress in your subject

  • Completing basic administration tasks efficiently

Required Candidate Skills

  • You must be a graduate or undergraduate in a subject area, or a relevant degree, to tutor at StudyRight

  • You must be able to teach up to GCSE level in your subject area

  • You have experience in -- and a passion for -- working with children and young people, particularly in community settings

  • You are actively interested in pursuing a career in education, childcare, youth work or your chosen degree

  • You have excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • You will be organised and have excellent time management skills
