Roles & Responsibilities…
Purpose of the role: To deliver excellent weekly, sessions with young students aged 8-18 years in your chosen subject, in line with the current UK school curriculum.
Responsibilites
Arriving 15 minutes prior to your first session begins to plan tailored lessons for your students, using the packaged StudyRight materials provided as a guideline
Delivering engaging and stimulating sessions for young students aged 8-16 in a selected subject area
Being flexible with pre-planned content, adapting it to indivdual students’ needs
Reporting to parents on their child’s progress in your subject
Completing basic administration tasks efficiently
Required Candidate Skills
You must be a graduate or undergraduate in a subject area, or a relevant degree, to tutor at StudyRight
You must be able to teach up to GCSE level in your subject area
You have experience in -- and a passion for -- working with children and young people, particularly in community settings
You are actively interested in pursuing a career in education, childcare, youth work or your chosen degree
You have excellent verbal and written communications skills
You will be organised and have excellent time management skills
